Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you use MayoDating AI, we collect:

  • Account information: Email address when you sign up.
  • Conversation data: Messages you send, AI responses, images you upload, and voice transcriptions.
  • Usage data: Number of messages sent, features used, timestamps. No behavioral tracking or advertising pixels.
  • Payment data: Billing is handled by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID, not your full card details.
  • Anonymous sessions: If you use the Service without signing up, we use an httpOnly cookie to track your free message usage. This session data is not linked to any personal information.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide the Service — process your messages, remember your context across sessions (Pro), generate AI responses
  • Manage your subscription and credits
  • Improve Mayo's response quality over time (aggregate analysis only)
  • Communicate service updates or billing issues

3. What We Don't Do

We will never:

  • Sell your conversations or personal data to third parties
  • Share your data with advertisers
  • Use your conversations to train AI models without your explicit consent
  • Send you marketing emails without opt-in

4. Data Storage

All data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

5. Payments

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Authentication: Supabase session cookies to keep you logged in.
  • Anonymous usage: An httpOnly cookie (mayo_session_id) to track free message usage before signup. Expires after 30 days.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking, or analytics beyond our own database.

7. Data Retention

Conversation data is retained as long as your account is active. Anonymous session data is deleted after 30 days. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To request data deletion or export, email privacy@mayodating.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service.
